The ACADES Congress is a pioneering event in Chile aimed at addressing issues related to new water sources in the context of the drought that has affected the country, leading to desertification and threatening national water security.
It is organized by the Chilean Association for Desalination and Reuse (ACADES), an organization that promotes climate change adaptation by ensuring water supply through non-traditional sources such as desalination and wastewater reuse. These alternatives aim to provide water security and reduce reliance on continental water sources.
The event, which will bring together leading national and international experts, water sector professionals, specialized investors, authorities, and business representatives, will take place as part of the «Water Month» declared by the United Nations, on March 18 and 19 at Metropolitan Vitacura in Santiago, Chile.
